At 82 and 69, respectively, Ted Blanch and Michael Cashman are in the position of many entrepreneurs less than half their age: Launching a new company. They recently debuted COIN Re, a Florida-based reinsurance provider designed also as a co-op where customers can also be owners. At the recent 2018 PCI Annual Meeting in Miami, they spoke with Carrier Management Editor Mark Hollmer about their new venture.
