That's the world that Munich Re, US CEO Anthony Kuczinski wrote about in an article for Carrier Management last year (CEO Viewpoint: Challenge of Disruption Awakens a Sleeping Giant), arguing that the increased availability of risk-related data will expand the boundaries of insurability. But the flip side of that is aggregation risk for reinsurers. Carrier Management Editor Susanne Sclafane asked him about that during an interview at the Property/Casualty Insurance Joint Industry Forum in January 2017.
