Demetrius Gray, CEO and founder of Captain, a fintech that advances capital to building contractors and helps homeowners recover quickly after natural disasters, didn’t have a lot to say about the difficulties of starting up a financial technology company during a recent interview with Carrier Management. Gray stressed that policyholders, who have to put their lives back together, have the hardest part of the post-disaster rebuilding process.
