Greg's philosophy is to build change from the inside out: "To win the marketplace, you first must win the workplace." Westfield associates have participated in a number of events over the last few years to encourage diversity ("the mix") and inclusion ("the mix working well together"), says Greg. These include small "dialogue circles," where as many as eight employees honestly discuss cultural sensitivity, micro-aggressions, micro-affirmations, unconscious bias, and more. Greg takes a holistic approach, working too with agents, policyholders, business partners and government entities. Ultimately, Greg points out, diversity and inclusion is much more than doing the right thing. “D&I is at the core of what we do. It’s supported by each and every person. By embracing our uniqueness and differences, together we accomplish great things.”
