Catherine Rudow, senior vice president of North America Property and Casualty and senior underwriter of Casualty at PartnerRe, spoke with Insurance Journal's Elizabeth Blosfield about any changes in underwriting and the way the insurance industry operates following the cyber incidents of 2017. Although a PartnerRe survey from last year indicated there wasn't a large difference in the way brokers and underwriters were pricing business following the breach incidents, Rudow pointed to more resources that have since entered the space in order to understand aggregation issues that could follow a business interruption loss. Rudow was a panelist at the 2018 PLUS Cyber Symposium in Chicago.
