Cyber Insurance Demand Uneven, Aon Exec Says

Earlier this year, Ponemon Institute reported that 19 percent of companies surveyed buy cyber insurance, a figure well below the 52 percent who believe their cyber risks are increasing. But the headline figures in The 2015 Global Cyber Impact Report sponsored by Aon only tell part of the story, according to Kevin Kalinich, Aon's global practice leader for cyber insurance. In this interview with Carrier Management's Susanne Sclafane at the Standard & Poor's 2015 Insurance Conference, he discussed variations in insurance demand for different potential buyers.
