As regulators around the world grapple with the supervision of internationally active insurance groups and devise new capital requirements, conflicts between the regulators will become even more apparent, predicts Howard Mills, the former superintendent of the New York insurance department. Now working as a Senior Advisor to the Insurance Group at Deloitte, Mills shared his thoughts with Carrier Management at the Property/Casualty Insurance Joint Industry Forum.
