Artificial intelligence is changing the game — and you may as well own your future. First, he says, AI is creating a world where the risk and insurance industry will be more about “digital customer-centric risk cover” versus what carriers have provided for centuries. This means helping customers manage risks and go beyond just offering specific insurance products. Second, AI is eliminating “tasks, not jobs.” Better to get ahead of it and “volunteer ideas” on what aspects of your job can be automated, releasing you to be more involved in human-to-human activity, David says.
