The typical cannabis policyholder too often sees insurance coverage as a box to check off for compliance purposes, and that means there isn’t much pressure placed on carriers to broaden coverage. That’s according to one expert on the “Legal Spotlight” panel at Insurance Journal’s annual Insuring Cannabis Summit on Oct. 14. A group of attorneys on the panel also discussed cases, exclusions, errors & emissions exposures, rulings from certain courts and precedents.
