The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) is an independent, nonprofit scientific and educational organization dedicated to reducing the losses caused by deaths, injuries and property damage from motor vehicle crashes. We recently spoke with Raul Arbelaez, vice president of IIHS's Vehicle Research Center where he shared the not so dumb qualities of their crash test dummies.
