Insurance linked securities are now pursuing ratings from agencies, just like regular insurers and reinsurers do. Stefan Holzberger, chief rating officer for A.M. Best, says that the new practice has affected the market in a number of ways. He explained the details to Carrier Management Editor Mark Hollmer, at the PCI 2018 conference in Miami.
