ReSource Pro’s Hastings Discusses How He Hopes to Impact a Relationship-Driven Insurance Industry

Pat Hastings, an operations consultant at ReSource Pro in New York City recently spoke with Insurance Journal's Elizabeth Blosfield about how he got his start in the insurance industry, the benefits and challenges he has experienced throughout his career and in what ways he hopes to impact the industry through his career.
"It's hard to say individually that I could impact the industry as a whole, but from where I am, I like to impact people positively - whether it's clients or insureds or even individual team members within your organization," Hastings said. "That to me is where I feel that I can have an impact and that's something I have passion around is helping out, whether it's working smarter or teaching people new things, elevating people or helping them elevate themselves."
Hastings was a panelist at a July roundtable held at ReSource Pro's offices in Manhattan, in which a group of six millennial-generation insurance industry employees sat down to discuss their perspectives on insurance and how they hope to impact the industry through their careers.
