Craig Poulton, CEO of Salt Lake City, Utah-based Poulton Associates Inc., which administers the Natural Catastrophe Insurance Program, recently spoke with Insurance Journal's Elizabeth Blosfield about natural disaster response and recovery, the extension of the National Flood Insurance Program through July of this year and the benefits and challenges he sees in private flood insurance.

During this vodcast, he discussed what the insurance industry learned after last year's natural disasters caused record amounts of damage in the U.S. and how he believes the private flood insurance market could be a solution for the National Flood Insurance Program's deficit.
