Marc Baker, president of Portland, Ore.-based Elliott, Powell, Baden & Baker Inc., in mid-October attended the 2017 Risk Management Summit: Unlocking Possibility. The summit was held at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas and was hosted by Energi, a provider of risk management and insurance offerings to the energy industry. Baker was asked to tell other agents why he was there and why they too should perhaps consider attending such risk management functions.
