CSAA Insurance Group CFO Paul McCaffrey spoke with Insurance Journal's Elizabeth Blosfield about how the sharing economy has contributed to the changing needs of the insurance industry, particularly as autonomous vehicles have continued to gain popularity. He said this has led the insurance industry to rethink how it operates in a society where direct ownership of homes and cars is becoming less frequent. McCaffrey was a panelist at the Insurance Information Institute's 2018 P/C Joint Industry Forum, held January 16 at New York City's Marriott Marquis.
