Property/casualty insurers have come far in being able to answer questions from analysts about their catastrophe exposures on the property side but they have a long way to go in putting a number on casualty catastrophes. That's an issue that brokers like Willis Re are aiming to solve, according to Paddy Jago, the global chairman, who outlined the problem for Carrier Management at the Rendez-Vous de Septembre in Monte Carlo.
