As the National Association of Insurance Commissioners moves forward with a corporate governance standard for U.S. insurers, the regulatory body has some corporate governance housekeeping of its own to attend to--at least according to Connecticut Insurance Commissioner Tom Leonardi, who criticized the NAIC's governance practices in a letter to regulators circulated at the December NAIC meeting.
