Earlier this month, more than 1,000 Main Street insurance agents from around the country descended on Washington D.C. to lobby their congressmen about key issues facing their businesses. Insurance Journal was invited to film two groups of agents - one from Mississippi, another from Connecticut - as they made the rounds on Capitol Hill to sound off on health care reform, taxes and other issues. For agents, it was the opportunity not only to voice their opinions, but also to get an insider's look at the day-to-day workings of American politics.
