June 30 marked the one-year anniversary of the launch of the new website, which includes an ever-expanding consumer quoting facility, or CAP. It seemed only fitting that we catch up with CAP's CEO Chip Bacciocco for a report. CAP, says Chip, is now "delivering on its promise to provide insurance consumers with a comprehensive resource and drive qualified leads to participating Trusted Choice agents." On this podcast, Chip talks real numbers. For example, in a recent month, more than 3,000 qualified leads were generated and more than 55% of those leads converted to new independent agency customers. The quality of the leads is impressive, says Chip. Many consumers coming through are insuring high-value homes and cars, buying multiple policies, and truly are seeking advice. Citing statistics, Chip covers other aspects of the digital initiative. Commercial lines quoting is planned for later in 2014.
