Barney & Barney CEO Paul Hering said his firm's acquisition by Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC will provide capital to fuel future growth. MMA's play for the San Diego, Calif.-based firm was announced Feb. 3. Hering told Insurance Journal the firm plans to grow and may be hiring in the future to sustain that growth.
