Consumer Watchdog on Proposition 33

Carmen Balber, a spokeswoman for Consumer Watchdog who has been working on the campaign to defeat Proposition 33, gives her take on the California ballot initiative that would enable consumers to take their automobile insurance persistency discount and shop it around to other insurers. Balber and Consumer Watchdog argue that Prop. 33 would unfairly punish drivers without a history of auto insurance, and undermine key provisions enacted by Proposition 103 in 1988.
