Mercury Insurance Chair on Prop. 33

Mercury Insurance Chairman George Joseph talked about his experience battling for Proposition 33, a California ballot initiative that would enable customers to take their automobile insurance persistency discount from their current carrier and shop it around to other insurers. Joseph, who has personally put several million dollars into the battle, was also the major backer of a similar initiative that was defeated in 2010.
