Solvency II Advisor Sees Local Politics as Threat to Implementation
Colm Fagan is one of Ireland’s most respected insurance executives. He is a member of the Irish Prime Minister’s International Insurance Group and of its Solvency II Group. In the podcast he expresses his opinion that the demands Solvency II makes on the EU’s insurance industry have become overly burdensome, which has resulted in delays, and could “eventually, I fear, kill the whole thing.”
