Luke Savage – Lloyd’s Director of Finance, Risk Management and Operations – talked with the IJ about Lloyd’s financial results for 2010, which were released on Wednesday, March 30.
They reflected the year’s natural catastrophes. The loss estimates for the Japan quake/tsunami should be available by mid-May. Savage added that it is too early to tell whether the recent catastrophes might spark an increase in reinsurance rates. “We’ve still got 9 months to go,” he concluded.
