Lawyers Malpractice Claims on the Rise
The economy has taken its toll on all businesses today and law firms are no exception. Downsizing, changes in attorney specialties in order to compete on new business, and other cost cutting measures taken by law firms today may be leading to a rise in claims and lawsuits against firms, say Michele Wade, executive vice president of Lockton Cos. and Kelley Martin, senior claims specialist in the technical resource center of Scottsdale Insurance Co.
