Mystery Man To Helm New York Insurance Exchange
Thanks to months of planning and the combined insight of more than 50 insurance industry leaders, the plan to revitalize the New York Insurance Exchange is poised to take a big step forward this fall. But there’s still a lot to be done — particularly behind the scenes. Leading the charge to build the exchange is an unnamed executive who is “well-known to the insurance industry and investment community,” said Deputy Superintendent Mike Moriarty. The mystery man’s immediate obstacle: build industry support, find $25 million in seed money and navigate a changing of the guard in Albany later this year.
