I have found that windstorm is NOT covered by any of the insurance companies we deal with. Please advise what insurance companies you are referring to that do provide this coverage.

"Several insurors are now offering coverage" This is a misleading statement. The standard HO-3 has always had some "plant" coverage for the perils of fire & lightning, and 7 more perils. WINDSTORM has never been covered. Please give us the name of the carriers that insure for windstorm. Also the limit is no more than $500 for any one tree plant or shrub. If a confligation fire destroyed ever thing that was a growning plant the limit is 5% of the dwelling amount. Plus the tree debris removal limit is $1,000 for one or a hundred. Please show me the form you refrence in your article.
