Investing in your agency to maximize value over time makes sense. Independent agencies don’t have the national advertising, brand awareness and essentially guaranteed buyback value of captives like Allstate.

It says things like “investors need to do their homework” or “adhere to best practices” or “have a good sales culture”…etc…there isn’t much real info here at all…just “catch phrases”. It then ends with this pearl “The best investment for an agent is their own business’…
I understand the video seems to infer that agencies shouldn’t take their own money and go to the market to invest. That sentence isn’t worth the whole 3 minutes.

Thanks for trying to give us good info, even if some of them aren’t as good as the others.
