Data Security Creating Insurance Agent Sales Opportunities
Data security has become a hot topic in recent years, as technology has evolved and breaches become an increasing exposure for main street businesses. There’s no longer a question of whether or not a company will have a data security breach — it’s a question of when, according to Thomas Katona, president, managing member of Apogee Insurance Group, who spoke to Insurance Journal at the recent PLUS Annual International Conference in San Francisco. In light of these trends, Katona discusses how data security is an emerging sales opportunity for independent insurance agents.
