As a smaller agency, this is a great opportunity for me to rob Peter to pay Paul. We have no one moving to MA and we will need to split up our auto book to make sure that we don't lose any customers. Smaller books means less leverage for agents. Less leverage means less service. Businesses compete on three levels; service, price & quality. Our carriers all have quality products & price was mandated by the state. Agencies were able to compete through their service to their customers and community.
