In our last podcast we talked with Brendan's father, Ed Higgins, for his perspective on the transfer of ownership of the agency to Brendan. Now we wanted to get Brendon's perspective. He talks about starting his insurance carrier on the carrier side and then his decision to join the family business. While Brendan echoes many of the key points made by Ed he also speaks to several issues that were important to him as a young producer and future owner. For example, he discusses the importance of owning any business he produced and thus avoiding having to pay for that business as part of the agency purchase.
