The Challenges and Successes Experienced as an NAIC Officer

Mike Pickens, Arkansas commissioner of insurance and outgoing NAIC president, reviews the challenges and successes he experienced during his three years as an NAIC officer, including one of the largest turnovers of state commissioners in nearly 20 years. Pickens also addresses international relationships created with China and Vietnam and his plans to assist the NAIC and the newly elected officers by continuing to support efforts driven by its government affairs committee, a committee he developed during his term in office.
